Our Process

Our core focus is quality and craftsmanship. Ultimately, our goal is to create lingerie that is made well and made to last. By foregoing a seasonal structure to our collections, working in small limited capsules and establishing a purpose-driven approach to our designs, we can focus on the elements that matter most.

In the era of mass-production and mass-consumption, we are slowing down our processes and focusing on what we create, how it is made and who made it. Our relationships with our European suppliers are of the utmost importance, supporting family-run businesses wherever possible. 

Through launching our capsule collection on a preorder basis we aim to limit waste and limit our production quantities by ensuring we don’t overproduce. We intend to use this model for all of our products and will continue to produce in limited quantities so we can maintain the highest standards at all times.

Our Packaging

All of our packaging has been designed, selected and created to limit waste while providing a luxury experience. 

All of our ecommerce packaging is entirely plastic-free and recyclable. Our swing tags and ecommerce bags are made from bamboo, which is a sustainable and renewable alternative for making paper. Bamboo is a quickly renewable resource and provides both jobs and economic development.


Our tissue paper is made from recycled paper sourced in the EU, is recyclable, biodegradable and compostable.

Our Plans

As a start-up ecommerce brand we aim to be conscious in our decision-making and product creation from the very beginning. We also aim to continuously improve the sustainability of our processes over time to limit our carbon footprint. 

We are just finding our feet but we hope to localise our production wherever possible such as our plans to create a UK-based repair facility that will enable our customers to send their Coutille Bras & Bustinis back to us for restoration and repair if they’ve seen a little too much love.

We have many other exciting plans to build our community, not only as a luxury brand but as a force within the industry that gives back. Watch this space!
